July 2012: There had been no official announcement about the Rolling Stones 2013 Schedule for a tour, concerts or even appearances. Thursday, July 12, 2012 there was a Golden Jubilee celebration in London as that was the date of their very first gig as the Rolling Stones. They were at Somerset House in London for an opening of a photographic exhibition called "Rolling Stones:50"Fall 2012 Rolling Stones Grrr and more
- The documentary in Cross Fire Hurricane was shown in select theaters, celebrating 50 years Apparently they filmed a jam session the Stones did last spring to start working the rust out of their music, as they have not played together since the Bigger Bang tour.
- GRRR! CD released a compilation CD covering all 50 years.
- Five 50th anniversary concerts announced, 2 in London, 1 in Brooklyn and 2 at the Prudential Center in NJ.

An 18 city Tour will be announced at any moment, scheduled to begin in early May, possibly starting out west in Vegas or LA or Seattle.
